OK, there goes the Christmas budget...
For the first time, MGM is bringing all 21 James Bond Films together in one DVD set beginning Nov. 6!
The 42-Disc box includes the 20 original Bond films plus Casino Royale, the 2006 hit that introduced Daniel Craig as a leaner, tougher Bond for the 21st century. Each film has a bonus disc and the older titles were recently given a superb digital cleanup.
Those of you who invested in the four box sets of the 20 older Bonds earlier this year aren't missing anything (except Casino Royale) because the extra features are the same.
My guess is there are still many Bond fans out there who'd love to get the new box set in their Christmas stocking, but they'd better have generous relatives or friends - the "suggested" retail price is $239.98 U.S. or $269.98 Canadian.
The Bond behemoth is available Nov. 6.
